Our full line of PES and PVDF tubular UF membranes are available in 5mm or 8mm diameter and a variety of pore sizes, housed in either GFRP or PVC-U housings. For high-strength wastewater and process streams, Berghof Membranes offers chemical resistant (CR) tubular UF able to withstand highly concentrated alkaline detergents and chemicals.
Tubular UF Membrane Modules
Berghof Membranes has developed robust tubular ultrafiltration (UF) membrane modules using inside-out crossflow filtration to prevent fouling and clogging. Our MBR membranes are ideal for separating and filtering challenging industrial effluent and wastewater, providing reliable performance and durability. We specify in diameters from 5 mm over 8 mm to 12.7 mm, chemical resistant and backwashable Membrane Modules as well as Ridge-M™ membranes with an enhanced self-cleaning effect.
B-SMART® UF Skid
To overcome challenges with traditional filtration systems, Berghof Membranes pioneered the external principle in which tubular membrane filtration systems are placed OUTSIDE the feed tank or bioreactor, thereby resolving the inherent problems with submerged systems. B-SMART® is a proprietary platform, designed specifically for our OEM partners that delivers complete and modular systems to solve the challenges in the treatment of industrial streams/effluent. Plant owners are looking for cost-effective and reliable solutions that can support industrial growth. Plant operators want easy-to-maintain systems that can meet strict discharge standards. B-SMART® helps OEMs to deliver both.
Pilot systems
Having completed more than 2.500 projects worldwide, Berghof Membranes has grown since 1972 to become a leader in tubular membrane solutions for industrial applications. Over these years we have gained a lot of experience with piloting studies for tubular ultrafiltration, allowing our customers to tackle even their most challenging wastewater applications. Our containerized pilot units are plug-and-play and feature standardized but flexible software, allowing them to be customized to your filtration challenge. They have been designed to be flexible with the aim of coping with a broad range of wastewater characteristics and operational conditions: several membrane types, filtration parameters, and flow capacities can be very easily implemented.
B-CARE® Services
The B-CARE® program from Berghof Membranes is an end-to-end comprehensive program developed to support our OEM partners from the piloting and engineering phase to operational system monitoring. Because process streams and wastewater can vary significantly, there is no typical or standard wastewater treatment solution.
